Digital signage networks for corporations which use store-forward technology to transfer highly-produced video content and live data over a secure corporate intranet or the internet for an engaging, new media corporate communications experience. These networks may be interactive or broadcast only, and are usually wholly-owned by the client. They are programmed with content that galvanizes employees of large enterprises around the brand messaging, mission, and corporate culture.
The network configuration consists of a server and small form factor PC players at each screen, scaleable from one screen to thousands of screens worldwide. Unlike streaming technology, store-forward technology buffers content to each player. Once content files and templates are resident on each player, only small data files for scheduling are passed, minimizing network traffic.
